Artist Statement
With a self-referential character the work focuses on my experience as a laborer on the cuban tobacco fields. The interaction with the workpiece generates a ludic (interplay) that is imply by discovering a passage of a classic stamp and reveals another landscape through the carvings, a more idyllic and personal scenery appears.
