Artist Statement

Aya is a letterpress artist and researcher in Japan. She graduated from Kyoto Seika University with a degree in printmaking. She worked in printing studios in Japan and Taiwan, and later studied typesetting at the University of Braunschweig in Germany.

Her work always uses letterpress and takes the form of books.
